Hola people!
I was so excited to shoot for this one because it features my 2 most favourite things!!(obviously easy-peasy D.I.Y) Click to know this simple fix 😉
For people who don’t know me, I am such a massive “sweatshirt person”, if that’s even a thing! They are like the best thing ever made. So comfortably loose, edgy design and it itself gives such a cool vibe to your outfit. Just throw on a sweatshirt and you are good to go; college, brunch or just a simple hang out with friends. There are so many options for you to try in the market which suits your persona. I am a bit of tomboyish-girlish kind of female and love the solid colored sweatshirts a lot. Add a hoodie to a sweatshirt and that’s heaven for me!
You can try the slogan ones or with an abstract design and slay throughout the day.
Pair them up with your favourite jeans, hot shorts, skorts, skirts; basically everything(one of the reasons I love it).
For oh-so fabulous look, wear a mid thigh leather/denim skirt with your sweatshirt, add on a pair of boots or gladiators and just rock!
And the second thing- D.I.Y. Solution for everything! Currently in fashion trend, “fun”is being added to every garment. Quirky, patched, embroidered, painted, washed, distressed denims are so in right now. For me, the only problem with it is that they are not much pocket friendly. But hey! worry not, I know a simple fix. In the market you can find some “iron-on”patches with amazing designs. I found mine from Koovs ; there are options on various other sites as well, such as amazon and flipkart. So, I bought those “iron-on”patches, used them on my jeans and voila! You have quirky denims on a budget. I used 2 patches, you can use whatever you like; let the creativity flow 😉
How to use “iron-on”patch:
Step 1 – Place the patches in the desired position on the garment. ( Make sure that the design part is in the front and the heatable glue part is facing the garment)
Step 2 – Press the heated iron straight down for 35-45 seconds with as much constant pressure as possible.
Step 3 – Turn the garment inside-out and repeat steps 1 & 2.
Step 4 – Allow the applique or embroidered patch to cool down.
Show off your creative side! And if you try this D.I.Y. don’t forget to show me 🙂
Got another idea? Comment!
